What we Take and Do Not Take Tax Deduction Information Donation Drop-off Guidelines

Thank you very much for your donations, which fund Bryn Mawr College scholarships.
 
 
 

WHAT WE TAKE AND DO NOT TAKE
 
 

ALL BOOKS DONATED MUST BE IN GOOD, SALEABLE CONDITION

Please bring us ONLY books which meet our donation guidelines below. Our storage space is limited, and we can only accept donations of books that we will be able to sell. Please do not give us books no one else will want.

BOOKS Hardcover and paperback books in good, saleable condition Books in poor condition: 
  • dirty
  • water damaged
  • musty
  • mildewed
  • missing pages
  • missing covers
  • falls apart when opened
You don't want them, and neither will anyone else 
TEXTBOOKS Advanced math and science only  All other textbooks
"UNWANTED BOOKS" None "Leftovers" and books of little or no value:
  • books left over after yard sales and book sales
  • books rescued from trash piles
